Over 40 years ago, Dr. Charles “Chic” Bachtel opened his office in Longview Texas with a clear mission: to offer anyone who walked in his office the best dentistry had to offer, In 2009, Dr. Tom Cotton acquired the practice after a long friendship with Dr. Bachtel, committed to continuing the tradition of fine general and implant dentistry. So with life-like cosmetic techniques, cutting edge tissue regeneration procedures and complete implant services.

Dr. Tom Cotton, DDS

Dr. Tom Cotton graduated from Texas A&M in 1975 and UT Dental School San Antonio in 1979. He received his fellowship from the American Academy of General Dentistry. He established a general practice in Henderson, TX as well as a close friendship with Dr. Bachtel, original founder of the practice Tom now owns. He was nominated as Dentist of the Year by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry in 1996. Dr. Cotton is past president of the East Texas Dental Society and former program director for the Ark-La-Tx Academy of Dentistry.

Cheryl Cotton

Business Manager

My name is Cheryl Cotton. I grew up in Dallas Texas and have lived in East Texas since 1981. My husband Dr. Cotton and I have four daughters. I have been in the dental field since 1982 and enjoy managing this practice. I feel that I am using some of the gifts that God has given me by organizing and listening to others and helping with their needs whether it be dental or personal concerns. There is nothing more satisfying than a patient with a smile on their face.

Erin Bregin

Registered Dental Hygenist

My name is Erin Bregin, and I have been a practicing hygienist for this practice since 1998. I am married to Daniel and have a son named Adam. I grew up in and currently live in Longview Texas, and received my hygiene degree from Tyler Junior College. I enjoy being a part of a great dental team, treating the nicest patients with the latest in comprehensive and implant dentistry.

Lisa Holt

Registered Dental Assistant

My name is Lisa Holt. I am a registered dental assistant having been in dentistry since 1979. I am married with two daughters and two granddaughters. I am so proud of the mouths we have rebuilt and the people we have helped, as well as the expertise I have developed in all aspects of general and implant dentistry.

Kim Hagen

Registered Dental Hygienist

My name is Kim Hagen. I am a long time resident of Longview. I have two children , Kristin and Austin. I received my degree in dental hygiene from Tyler Junior College in 1982. I am so excited to have become a part of this great dental team in 2018! I am looking forward to meeting you!
